Geese, Lots and Lots of Geese

On Thursday we decided to take a family outting to the park to feed the geese. Little did we know how much fun it would be...not just for Logan but for all three of us. Logan was so brave, unlike his mother. He ran right over to the geese and tried to pet them. Me on the other hand...I was terrified. Maybe it was the fact that they swarmed us, or maybe it was because there were so many, or just maybe it was because of a childhood trauma involving geese. Either way, I was a CHICKEN! Anyways, after I saw Jared and Logan feeding the geese right out of there hands, and Logan laughing hysterically every time, I thought, they must not be that bad and joined in. I am not sure what it is about a child's laughter, I mean the deep down belly laughter that makes the whole world stand still and allows us to enjoy the moment and grow closer together as a family. Logan's laughter was so cute and contagious Jared and I couldn't help but join in. It was one of those precious moments that I will cherish forever. Seeing you child's eyes light up and the joy you know he feels from such a simple thing in life......feeding the geese.

The smile on his face says everything!

Come here geese

Daddy just helping his son feed the geese

After we were done feeding the geese Logan decided to take a look around and play in the dirt and eat the twigs....mmmmmmm

Feeling a little tuckered from all that fun. Logan kept laying down on the truck of the tree, we are not quite sure why, he must have thought they were comfortable.

I am also terrified of geese!!! Can't stand the stupid animals!
When I go to the zoo and they are in the aisle to get to the next set of animals, it makes me so mad!
Logan is just adorable, and I am so glad I was able to see him again at your house!
So happy that you have joined the blogging world with the rest of us!

Logan has gotten so big. Last time we saw him at Sara and Will's wedding, he was just a little guy. Geese are scary and have quite the attitude. I will walk a wide circle to avoid them.
