Safeco Field: Mariners vs. Orioles

We snuck down closer to the field...it was awesome!
Well it was the first time since Logan has been born that Jared and I have gone on vacation alone. We weren't actually alone, we were with friends, but we were without child. I must say, it was sad to leave my baby behind, I missed him terribly. But I had forgotten how easy it is to go from place to place without worrying about nap times, feedings, dirty diapers, and of course supplying endless entertainment. Jared had a fast pitch softball tournament in Seattle so we decided to make a trip out of it. We had a great time, other than the fact his team did not play very well. We were able to catch a Mariners game, see the sights, eat some good food, and yes, I was able to shop. The weather was a little colder than we would have liked, but it was nice to get out of town with friends. While our trip was fun I was ready to come home and just relax with Jared and Logan. It is always fun to get away, but nothing beats being at home with your family.

How nice to get away. You HAVE to make time to do that as just a couple and no kids, its important! And it gets easier to leave your kids, at least for me it did.
Yes I agree with Val, you need time with eachother, and it does get easier to leave the kids behind once you do it a couple of times! I will leave my children with whom ever will take them! Just kidding!!!! Miss you!
